Submission Guidelines...

Responsible, open, honest writing; that’s what we are searching for...

We are not asking for professional type submissions. We really want to hear from the hearts and minds of our youth. Your ideas – in Your words - Your way...

However, we would respectfully request that submissions NOT contain any kind of emotionally negative or accusatory content; as much as we are aware that there are many issues that our world needs to face and find viable solutions for, we do not believe that pointing the finger and placing blame is a positive way to initiate change. We would also like to request that writings NOT contain any profanity or racial slurs, as the team will NOT publish or post any content that encourages hate or division of ANY kind. Basically we love people – ALL people and we respect that views and opinions can vary depending on one’s upbringing and experience.

We would encourage you all to discuss your concerns and offer solutions with regards to some of the following issues that face our world today...

The environment

Poverty

War vs. Peace

Education

Bullying

or any other topic that concerns you that you feel needs be addressed and discussed. We would again like to encourage you to come up with possible solutions for the concerns you present in your writing. We believe you have the answers and we would love to have you share them.

Contributions can be anywhere from 1/2 a page to 3 pages long.

Teachers who are interested in this project who are working with younger grades may subit collective writings from their class and we, if requested (but only by request) will include the school and the grade.

Please note the teem will be not editing 4 grammer & spelling, all writings will be posted and published as they are submitted. All writings should come from the heart and be an honest representation of who you are.

Submissions will be divided into different age groups...

5-10 yrs

11-15yrs

16-20yrs

and selections from those submissions will be chosen and placed into their respective sections of Blooking Younger...

All those under the age of 18 will be required to provide a release form completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian before their submission may be published and all participants over the age of 18 will be required to sign a release form, so we ask that all submission also include an email address as well as name, age and nationality.

To the teachers out there - this means that, yes, there will be a little work involved on your part because we do need parental permission to publish their work, but you love your kids so we know this little extra effort will be no trouble at all.

Release forms for publication will be provided by the Blooking Younger team and Grave distractions Publications once the entries are chosen for publication.

Again we thank you for your participation and look forward to reading your contributions.

The Blooking Younger family...
